For promotion and salary increases, employees will now be required to follow a strict return-to-office rule. TCS has made it mandatory for its employees to physically attend the office five days a week. “The economy is improving and we will need more people to do more work.” – K Krithivasan, CEO of TCS

However, this move has led to the withdrawal of the work-from-home facility for certain teams, emphasizing the shift towards in-person collaboration.
