Immigration Attorney Prashnathi Reddy, Esq, Answers a Question on the options for COS from an F1 Visa to an H4 Visa and applying for an H4 EAD.
How to expedite H4-EAD?
Option # 1. If your H1B extension or amendment is being filed with Premium Processing (only), send the H4 EAD application or receipt notice requesting USCIS to process together.
Option # 2: Financial or Personal Hardship: Put together a story, including finances, family, kids, overseas parents, debts, multiple job offers, health, etc. A simple letter won’t work with proof. You need evidence of hardships.
Option # 3: Reach Congressmen in your local area to contact Ombudsman offices for help/support. https://www.house.gov/representatives/find-your-representative
